The Hillsboro Hops clobbered the Eugene Emeralds, 11-0, at PK Park. Leading the onslaught was Connor Ellsworth. He went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Hillsboro. Hillsboro is now 27-27.

Hillsboro used a well-timed hit by Jordan Amaya to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Hops ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Not much to say," Eugene manager Santos Nunez said, when asked afterward about the defeat.
