Twins Use Late Rally to Win
|
The Minnesota (SS-A) Twins defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 5-3, in part because of shortstop Ryan Dooley. Dooley was 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times for the Twins. The Twins now own a record of 24-35.
Dooley had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a double. The Twins went on to win.
Dooley said his team "played with determination."
