Brewers Pick Up 4-2 Win Over Spokane
|
The Milwaukee (SS-A) Brewers picked up a win at Avista Stadium, topping the Spokane Indians, 4-2. On the mound for Milwaukee (SS-A) was right-hander Terrell Weber. He played a principal role in the triumph. Weber yielded 2 runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. His record improves to 6-5. Raul Gamboa wrapped it up, recording his 4th save.
The Brewers had to work out of trouble with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-2, Milwaukee (SS-A). But Spokane, with the bases empty, had mounted a threat. Sergio Delgado dug in at the plate. But on a first pitch fastball, Delgado lined out.
With the win, the Brewers have a record of 30-31.
