Bill Gollner knocked in 3 runs to help Boston (GCL) beat Las Vegas (GCL), 6-3. Gollner produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Tony de Santiago picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Ed Cheetham was tagged with the loss. The Red Sox, at 29-35, sit in last place in the South Division.

Gollner had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Fernando Vega, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Red Sox a 6-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Gollner.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Gollner.
