Indians Beat Dust Devils, 4-2
|
Spokane turned a good effort from starter Pat McGeever into a win over the Tri-City Dust Devils at Gesa Stadium. The final score was 4-2. McGeever, now 3-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Efrain Fuentes notched his 4th save in 6 chances.
Greg Milne aided the Spokane cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop was 2-4 with a triple.
"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Milne said.
Spokane now sits in third place in the East Division at 40-27.
