Salem-Keizer Slaps 2-0 Loss on Canadians
|
The Salem-Keizer Volcanoes picked up a win at Nat Bailey Stadium, knocking off the Vancouver Canadians, 2-0. On the mound for Salem-Keizer was right-hander Theodosio Frias, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bobby Adams finished the game for Salem-Keizer and earned his 1st save. After today's action, Salem-Keizer sits at 28-40, while Vancouver falls to 43-25.
Salem-Keizer used a well-timed hit by Steve Inniss to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Volcanoes ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Salem-Keizer manager Josh McAdams.
