The Eugene Emeralds had to overcome a good performance from Boise pitcher Nick Puckett to claim a 3-2 win at Memorial Stadium. Puckett went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Doug Curtis earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 5-2. Boise has now lost 6 consecutive games.

Jaylen Craighead, who is tied for 10th in the NWL in extra base hits with 26, had a direct impact on the outcome. Craighead contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Eugene up, 3-2.
