The Minnesota (SS-A) Twins faced a tough opponent in Boise pitcher Matt Kennedy, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Lancaster Grounds by a final score of 4-0. Kennedy went 6 innings and allowed no runs. Tony Macias, now 1-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The Twins improved to 38-32.

Minnesota (SS-A) took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, Michael Morrison hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Twins.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Albert Favela.
