Luna Tags Reds for 5 Hits
|
It was a parade of hits for Danny Luna of the Spokane Indians at Stallions Ballpark today.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Luna finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Indians to a 8-2 victory.
"Luna was really good and we were really bad," groaned Reds manager Butch Harris. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Danny Luna doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
