Baroff, Twins Stop Dust Devils, 1-0
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Minnesota (SS-A) Twins and the Tri-City Dust Devils, 20-year old right-handed pitcher Bryan Baroff proved to be the difference. The Minnesota (SS-A) right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Twins win. Minnesota (SS-A) is now 38-36.
Baroff, who was born in Richardson, Texas, threw 87 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"There is no easy way to lose when you're doing everything you can to win games," said Tri-City manager .
