Hawks Get Clutch Win Versus Eugene
Boise Hawks starter Kenny Kennedy pitched a strong game against the Eugene Emeralds at PK Park, leading the Hawks to victory, 5-4. Terry Crowell notched his 3rd save of the season. The Hawks now have a record of 39-35 with the win over Eugene.

Boise used the timely hitting of Brian Giddens to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hawks on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Giddens told the Boise Herald.
