A 4-RBI performance from the 23-year old third baseman Eddie Wills helped the Chicago (Rk+) Cubs beat the Billings Mustangs, 10-2. Antonio Mercado picked up the save for Chicago (Rk+), his 1st of the year. The win puts the Cubs at 19-20, while the Mustangs drop to 20-19.

With Chicago (Rk+) trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Wills hit a fastball from Mike Shaw for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cubs ahead, 3-1.

"Not much to say," Billings manager Jon Koehn said, when asked afterward about the defeat.
