Voyagers Run Win Streak to 9
The Great Falls Voyagers defeated the Missoula Osprey, 9-3, in Pioneer League action at Centene Stadium. Great Falls pitcher Chris Gordon had a standout performance. Eric Byrne earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2 innings. His record is now 5-0. Austin Sylvestre finished the game for Great Falls and earned his 9th save.

The Osprey had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Voyagers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old shortstop Zach Naylor came to the plate. Naylor hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 fastball from Missoula hurler Emilio Guerrero. It was Naylor's 7th double of the year.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Great Falls manager Harry Andreotta.

The first-place Voyagers improved to 29-14.
