Tigers Topple Athletics with Late Rally
The Portland Tigers topped the Oakland (Rk+) Athletics, 5-4, in Pioneer League action at Hackers Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Portland pitcher Julio Martinez. The Tigers move to 35-38 with the win, while the Athletics drop to 30-43.

Johnny Young was the walk-off hero for Portland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tigers shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We saved our best for last," said Martinez.
