The Great Falls Voyagers scored a convincing win at Centene Stadium, defeating the Washington (Rk+) Nationals, 15-3. One of the hitting stars was Steve Prouty, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2105 draft, who was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Great Falls reliever Dave Sweetland picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Glen Townley absorbed the loss. Great Falls is now 26-19, Washington (Rk+) 16-27.

With Great Falls trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Prouty hit a fastball from Glen Townley for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Voyagers ahead, 4-2.
