Sad Sack Osprey Lose 6th Straight
|
Linus Evans nearly tossed a no-hitter for Cleveland (Rk+) in a 2-1 Guardians triumph over the Missoula Osprey. The Guardians now own a record of 34-13.
Angel Aguayo was the walk-off hero for Cleveland (Rk+). With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Guardians left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Linus's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Greg Malhiot, the Guardians manager.
