Parrots Ballpark was the site of some high drama.

The Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians used a great performance from Alex Robles, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2109 draft, to beat the Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle, 2-1, at Parrots Ballpark. The win belonged to Cory Johnson in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Danny Ruiz took the loss for Las Vegas (Rk+).

Cleveland (Rk+) got a jolt from Nate Franz. The pinch hitter ripped a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it brought the house down.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Cleveland (Rk+) manager Greg Malhiot said.

With the win, Cleveland (Rk+) pushed its record to 30-19.
