Chicago (Rk+) registered a win at Harbingers Ballpark by beating the Washington (Rk+) Nationals, 4-0. Pitcher Francisco Treviso was one reason why the Cubs triumphed. Chicago (Rk+) occupies third place in the East at 23-28.

Skyler McGuire had a big 2-run home run for the Cubs in the bottom of the third inning. With Chicago (Rk+) leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Luis Munoz and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Cubs on top, 3-0.

"We're in a rut," said Washington (Rk+) manager Jeff Stanley.
