Great Falls Hot Streak Continues with 9-4 Win

Another day, another victory for the red-hot Great Falls Voyagers.
The Great Falls Voyagers defeated the Seattle (Rk+) Mariners, 9-4, at Centene Stadium. Leading the charge for Great Falls was third baseman Brian Corey. He was 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2. Great Falls pitcher Chris Gordon got the win. He's now 3-2. Brad Wiggins was tagged with the loss.
Nick Selfridge hit a run-scoring double off Brad Wiggins in the bottom of the third, which put the Voyagers in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Selfridge had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
Great Falls manager Harry Andreotta commended his team for "putting the pedal to the metal."
The Voyagers now have a mark of 39-16.
