The Missoula Osprey downed the Texas (Rk+) Rangers, 3-1, at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. Stellar pitching by Luke Gadsden had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. The victory gives Missoula a record of 31-27.

Missoula got a knockout punch from Ruben Palacios. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Missoula manager Cory Sotelo attributed the win to "a little bit of this and a little bit of that."
