Mariners Pick Up 3-1 Win

Helena got a decent performance from pitcher Matt Coker, but it wasn't enough to beat the Seattle (Rk+) Mariners. Seattle (Rk+) won the Ballpark of Sammamish contest, 3-1. Coker threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Seattle (Rk+) reliever Mauricio Alonso picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Matt Coker absorbed the loss. Seattle (Rk+) is 19-40 and Helena, with the loss, 45-14.
Seattle (Rk+) went up, 2-1, on Alex Cervantes's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Cervantes hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Helena pitcher Matt Coker shaking his head.
Cervantes called the win "a pick-me-upper."
