The umbrellas came out during the Helena-Portland contest at Hackers Ballpark.
The Helena Brewers topped the Portland Tigers, 5-2, in Pioneer League action at Hackers Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Helena pitcher and Norristown, Pennsylvania, native Chris Goldman. Doug Loughlin converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.
It could have been a different outcome for Helena, had it not been for Corey Sullivan, the 22-year old third baseman . Sullivan contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Helena up, 3-0.
"It was a solid team effort," said Sullivan after the game.
Helena is now riding a 3-game win streak.
