Rangers Take Down Hustle, 6-3
The Rangers earned a hard-fought, 6-3 win in 10 innings at Goliaths Ballpark. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Las Vegas (Rk+) pitcher Pedro Lucero. Lucero went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The first-place Rangers improved to 39-21.

Texas (Rk+) took a 5-3 lead on Dustin Newell's 5th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Newell hit in the top of the tenth, left Las Vegas (Rk+) pitcher Matt Thornton visibly frustrated.

In postgame remarks, Newell simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
