The Billings Mustangs beat the Washington (Rk+) Nationals, 7-4, at Swine Ballpark. Rob Ford, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Tony Mercado, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. Billings is now 29-32, while Washington (Rk+) is 12-49.

Billings relied on the hitting of Matt Siegler to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Mustangs on top, 3-0. For the game, Siegler had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
