Owlz Win with Late Heroics
The Orem Owlz beat the Helena Brewers, 3-2, in 13 innings. Orem pitcher and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, native Jeremy Facer led the way. Facer got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up no hits and walked 5 over 5 innings. He allowed no runs. Orem is now 40-23, while Helena is 26-36.

The Owlz got a clutch hit from first baseman Devon Semans. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Owlz.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Dan Baer, the Orem manager.
