The Orem Owlz and Helena Brewers provided some drama for the home crowd.

In a low-scoring contest, Helena pitcher Joe Reiff was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. The winner was Helena reliever Daniel Reyes, now 4-0. The loser was Rodrigo Santiago.

Helena needed the clutch hitting of Chris Mixon to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers on top, 2-1. For the game, Mixon had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Said Orem manager Mitch Renfer: "You just have to tip your cap sometimes."
