The Texas (Rk+) Rangers picked up a win at Black Diamonds Ballpark, taking down the Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle, 4-3. Starting pitcher Bobby Padley was a big reason why. In 6.1 innings, Padley surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Texas (Rk+) has a record of 41-21, placing them first in the East.

The Hustle had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Rangers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old center fielder Kevin Rothgeb came to the plate.
