Good production from shortstop Josh Guess helped the Ogden Raptors topple the Philadelphia (Rk+) Phillies, 7-3. Guess was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Raptors. Ogden pitcher Russ Focht earned the win, hiking his record to 7-3. Gervasio Galinheiro suffered the loss. The losing streak for Philadelphia (Rk+) has now reached 6 games.

Ogden grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Guess hit a run-scoring triple off David Fierro. His 4th triple of the season put the Raptors out in front, 4-3.
