The Texas (Rk+) Rangers grabbed a win, 9-1, over the Helena Brewers at Black Diamonds Ballpark. Texas (Rk+) first baseman Justin Finster went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Picking up the win was Elias Flores. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 1.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Black Diamonds Ballpark seemed to enjoy watching the Pioneer League action.

"We took a roundhouse punch to the chin," said losing manager Justin Hollingsworth.
