Philadelphia (Rk+) registered a win at Ballpark of Seymour by beating the Texas (Rk+) Rangers, 3-2. Pitcher Aaron Ostrow was one reason why the Phillies triumphed. Philadelphia (Rk+) pitcher Armando Picazo got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Mike Nunn got the loss. The last-place Phillies are 25-41.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Philadelphia (Rk+). That's when Austin Garrett hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Nunn to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Ostrow.
