In a low-scoring contest, Ogden pitcher Mario Islas was marvelous in his team's 3-0 win. Erik Hare converted his 9th save in 13 tries. With the win, the Raptors improved to 58-14.

It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Islas, who tallied 8 strikeouts in 8.2 innings while allowing just 4 hits. Islas, who is tied for 3rd in the PIO in strikeouts with 91, goes to 8-1 on the year with 91 strikeouts.
