In a tight contest between the Portland Tigers and the Helena Brewers, Mike Fleszar was the determining factor. The Portland right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Chris Giustino picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Tony Obando suffered the loss. With the win, Portland goes to 32-39, while the Brewers fall to 34-38.

Portland got a knockout punch from Pedro Resendes. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"That was a good game -- all the way through," said Resendes.
