The Billings Mustangs had to overcome a big game from Helena catcher David Andersen to leave Kindrick Legion Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-7, in 11 innings. Andersen was 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Billings, at 39-34, occupies third place in the North.

Billings used the timely hitting of Vince Williams to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Mustangs on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Williams.
