The Rangers grabbed a win, 6-3, at Black Diamonds Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Chicago (Rk+) pitcher Ewan Beckwith. Beckwith went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Rangers win now puts them at 49-24.

Oliver Funez chipped in for Texas (Rk+), stroking a crucial 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

Funez said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
