Raptors Stay Hot With 2-1 Win
Oscar Gonzalez pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle, despite Gonzalez's fine outing, dropped a 2-1 decision to the Ogden Raptors at Goliaths Ballpark. Reliever Daniel Xilre picked up the win. His record improves to 5-2. Oscar Gonzalez, who leads the PIO in complete games with 4, took the loss. Steve Wilson wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save.

It could have been a different outcome for Ogden, had it not been for Kevin Toole, the 23-year old right fielder . Toole contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Ogden up, 2-1.

"Pedal to the metal" is how Ogden manager Danny Lemus described his team's approach.

The Raptors now own a record of 48-26.
