Chita Dominant in Osprey Victory
|
The Missoula Osprey picked up a win at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field, knocking off the Seattle (Rk+) Mariners, 6-1. On the mound for Missoula was right-hander Nestor Chita. He played a key role in the triumph. The Osprey now own a record of 41-34.
Chita, who dominated for Missoula, earned the victory to move to 4-1. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 12. Seattle (Rk+) batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Chita.
