Billings Tags Portland with 2-1 Defeat

The Billings Mustangs, behind a great outing from Brian Scalfaro defeated the Portland Tigers, 2-1, at Hackers Ballpark. Manny Camacho earned his 3rd save, after closing out the game. The Mustangs, at 48-26, sit in second place in the North.
Jonathan Welch, who is tied for 6th in the PIO in triples with 7, had a direct impact on the outcome. Welch contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Billings up, 2-1.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Billings manager Jon Koehn.
