Baysox Beat SeaWolves, 4-3
|
The Bowie Baysox did just enough to sneak past the Erie SeaWolves, 4-3, at Jerry Uht Park. Bowie pitcher Yeong-min Kim, in particular, had a standout performance. Josh Cox earned the save for Bowie, his 2nd of the year. The Baysox, now 20-4, have stormed out of the gates.
Making an impact for Bowie was third baseman David Morales. He drilled a 2-run double off Armando Contreras in the top of the fourth. For the game, Morales was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"We ground out the win," said Kim. "That's all that matters."
