One Run Not Enough for Mets
The Atlanta (GCL) Braves scooted past the New York N (GCL) Mets, 2-1, at Champion Stadium. Atlanta (GCL) pitcher Chris Roth, in particular, performed like a star. At 35-34, the Braves find themselves in third place in the Northeast Division.

The Braves got a big at-bat from designated hitter Freddy Sepulveda. For the game, Sepulveda was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Atlanta (GCL) a 2-1 lead.
