The Houston (GCL) Astros could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jayden Stewart into a win. Instead, the Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle prevailed, 5-0. Stewart threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Las Vegas (GCL), with the win, sits at 17-58.

The Astros had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Hustle going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old center fielder Ernesto de la Torre came to the plate. de la Torre hit a solo home run on a full count cutter from Houston (GCL) hurler Jayden Stewart. It was de la Torre's 6th home run of the year.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Hustle manager . "This one was nice to get."
