The New York N (GCL) Mets topped the Minnesota (GCL) Twins, 5-2, with youngster Alberto Jasso playing a key role. Jasso went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Mets in the win. Juan Martinez got the win, improving to 3-1. He held the Twins to 2 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Harvey Reyes got credit for the save for New York N (GCL). It was his 6th of the year.
