The Las Vegas (GCL) Hustle, despite a fine performance by Colorado (GCL) pitcher David Soto, grabbed a 3-2 win at Mosquitos Ballpark. Soto allowed no runs over 5 innings. Ezequiel Escobedo, the winner, goes to 4-6. He allowed 2 runs on 12 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts over 8.2 innings. Gregg Porowski closed it out for Las Vegas (GCL), earning his 14th save.

Las Vegas (GCL) used the timely hitting of Willie Morales to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Hustle on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
