The Atlanta (GCL) Braves turned back the St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals, 5-4, at Champion Stadium. Ricardo Ramos, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2-2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The win went to Melvin Delgado in relief, making him now 2-7. Ryan Foster took the loss for St. Louis (GCL). Atlanta (GCL), with the win, is 20-53.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Atlanta (GCL) trailing 4-3, Ramos jumped on a splitter from 19-year old left-handed pitcher Ryan Foster and hit a 2-run home run to center. With one swing, the Braves had a walk-off win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Ramos said.
