The Boston (GCL) Red Sox extended their losing streak with a loss to the New York N (GCL) Mets.

In the 8-4 New York N (GCL) win over Boston (GCL), the impact of John Strauss was substantial. Strauss went 1-1 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jimmy Mulheron got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings.
