Astros Fight for 3-2 Win
Starting pitcher Kevin Thompson gave the Houston (GCL) Astros a rock-solid effort. The Ewa Beach, Hawaii native helped his team defeat the Colorado (GCL) Rockies, 3-2, at Ballpark of Belvedere. The winner was Houston (GCL) reliever Mike Belliveau, now 3-5. The loser was Oliver Parker. Houston (GCL) has now won 4 straight.

Houston (GCL) took a 3-1 lead on Mario Garza's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Garza hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Colorado (GCL) pitcher Oliver Parker visibly frustrated.
