Spiva Pitches 5-0 Shutout for Lincoln
|
Lincoln Saltdogs pitcher Luke Spiva blanked the Texas AirHogs 5-0 at Haymarket Park today, tossing a 3-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 7 strikeouts.
After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.
"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Spiva said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
This year Spiva has compiled a 4-3 mark with a 4.01 ERA.
