Corey Olsen put on a hitting clinic today as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks dumped the Winnipeg Goldeyes 10-9 at Newman Outdoor Field.

The Fargo-Moorhead left fielder made Winnipeg defenders earn their pay, lashing Winnipeg pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Olsen said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Corey Olsen hit a two-run home run off Fernando Ramos in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th, walked in the 9th, doubled in the 12th and doubled in the 14th.
