Reading third baseman Jim White had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. White was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, even as Bowie beat the Fightin Phils, 6-3. The Fightin Phils fall to 10-16 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2108 season.

Bowie used a well-timed hit by Jeremy Martin to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Baysox ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Martin.
