Spinners Get Dramatic 5-3 Win
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Lowell Spinners defeated the Vermont Lake Monsters, 5-3. Doing his part was left fielder Robert McEntyre, who was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Spinners now have a record of 22-53.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the tenth, with Lowell trailing 3-2, McEntyre hit a fastball from Mario Lausell for a 3-run home run, giving the Spinners the walk-off win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," McEntyre told the Lowell Herald.
