Renegades Stick Ironbirds with 6-3 Loss
The Hudson Valley Renegades topped the Aberdeen Ironbirds by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Bobby Schmidt. Schmidt was 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Renegades on the day. Tony Salas picked up the save for Hudson Valley, his 2nd of the year. The second-place Renegades improved to 51-25.

Kevin Rose was 2-3 with 2 singles for Hudson Valley. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Yoshiteru Kimura. It was his 20th RBI of the season.
