Rookie Kane County Cougars' shortstop Leads Western Division to Win in Annual All-Star Game
|
There's a whole lot of pride on the line when the best baseball players throughout Midwest League gather for the all-star game.
It was no different this year, as the Western Division bested the Eastern Division by a score of 7-0, in a spirited contest played at Ashford University Field.
"It might be a little lower intensity than the regular season or playoffs, but everyone in that clubhouse still wants to win this game," said Mike Lowery of the Western Division, who was named the game MVP.
